Happy Weekend!

Posted by admin on Mar 20, 2009 in Facebook

Most of my friends are getting addicted to facebook. I was like that too until I realized that it’s taking most of my time and yes, it can get very addictive :)

I am very careful when adding friends because I only add people whom I personally know, friends and not/not acquaintance. Well, that’s just me.

If you are not aware of the friend list/categories and other privacy settings of Facebook, I’d like you to refer on the following sites, very informative, indeed! (and watch the Youtube video above, it’s hilarious!).

Happy Weekend!

compare credit cards

Posted by admin on Mar 20, 2009 in Uncategorized

I could say that after almost 2 years of living here, we have become financially-wiser. Back in the days when we were so lax in terms of our expenses, I would say that I have overspent and learned the hard way of handling and managing credit cards. I had about 4 or 5 credit cards at that time. I was maxing out each and every card and not minding if I really need all the purchases I have been swiping.

When we got here, choosing the low interest credit card has been a tough job. Every credit company has something to offer. We had to turn to comparecards.com for credit cards comparison. This site provides all the necessary means to Compare Credit Cards from interest rates down to hidden charges. Fortunately, we were able to get about 2 reliable credit cards which we rarely use as I have mentioned in my other entries, I am now more of a debit card user than credit card.

Swipe your Watch

Posted by admin on Mar 20, 2009 in credit card watch

I was cleaning my photo files when I saw this.
I’m sure I saved it because I was supposed to blog about it. Hmmm, I wonder if this is available here?

From what I remembered, this watch has a special credit/debit car/even paypass device.
One need not bring a wallet to purchase anything.

Cool eh?

PS3, Xbox360, Wii, etc…

Posted by admin on Mar 20, 2009 in Uncategorized

I am an avid Wii fanatic but we used Xbox360 more often because our 3-year-old enjoys it the more. When he started with game consoles, he has to choose between a Wii and an Xbox360, we noticed that he enjoys Xbox360 and gets bored over Wii. Also, sometimes he cannot control the use of a Wii controller. However, hubby wants to trade off our Xbox360 with a PlayStation, particularly the PS3 game console.

We have been making the rounds for the past week and so far I am not yet convinced on getting one. Although, I believe, there are more features than an Xbox360, I just think there is no need for a change nor an upgrade. However, these PS3 deals from ShopWiki.com are just so tempting. They even have a complete listing of PS 3 Games and PS3 Accessories. When it comes to online shopping, I always frequent ShopWiki.com because that is where I learn where to get the cheapest and reliable deals.

So what do you think?
Xbox 360 or PS3?
