Weekend Snapshot #5: too many

Posted by admin on Apr 26, 2009 in weekend snapshots

I witnessed these tourists/students photo op session during a weekend in D.C.
It was too funny because the kids can’t get themselves organized and they lasted almost an hour to come up with a decent photo. Good thing it was a fall, can you imagine it being done in the Summer? Scorching hot, indeed!

Happy Monday!

Ola Summer!

Posted by admin on Apr 26, 2009 in Uncategorized

So are you making big plans for the summer break or do you opt to stay at home and chill with your aircon? If I do not have classes this summer, I would want to bring my family out of the country and perhaps book ourselves with this Mexico family vacation package. I was going through some testimonials from satisfied clients of Karisma Hotels and they were 99% happy with their booking and vacation. But then again, we could not squeeze even a 2 week vacation in the summer. Disappointing right? Oh well, there are a lot of nice places around the city and in the nearby cities, we might as well just take advantage of them and drive around.

customizing your diamonds.

Posted by admin on Apr 25, 2009 in Uncategorized

LA diamonds are known for high-quality cuts and clarity. When my bestfriend got engaged, her diamond engagement ring was a pretty piece of unique diamond jewelry. I found out later on that it was from a maker of custom diamond jewelry LA which services are available online.

Blufusion is known for customizing diamond-studded jewelries. They are one of the few most reliable custom jewelry studios in Los Angeles. Most of their diamond jewelry pieces are high-end and high-quality. Everything is being crafted in the United States. It is hard to trust a random company to do the customization of your finest diamonds but with Blufusion, you are guaranteed of the finest quality only. As I hover their site and check out some reviews, previous clients were happy and satisfied with their services. This got me thinking to have some of my bling-bling redesigned because to be honest, some of my bracelets and rings do not fit me anymore tsk tsk.

extreme fashion

Posted by admin on Apr 23, 2009 in Uncategorized

This entry is a confession.

If my spouse is a huge fan of online shopping, I support her on that and in fact would often ask her to check my favorite brand of clothing and shoes, The North Face. So that is my 1st confession. The second confession is the fact that I only visit 1 online shop which is Zappos.

To begin with, I love Zappos because I can find everything I need from Jackets to shoes to bags and they have the most comprehensive list of all things TNF. TNF or The North Face brand has been my favorite for almost 5 years now. When we moved to this place where it requires me to have Fall and Winter jacket, I only buy The North Face brand because they have the most complete jackets for extreme weather conditions. Also, when I was still active with mountaineering, I only get The North Face brands. Do I sound like a TNF obsessed fan? Yes, because I go for quality and The North Face is the best when it comes to quality.

convinced to be tagged.

Posted by admin on Apr 23, 2009 in Uncategorized

I wrote about hdradio.com and how their amazing HD enabled radio receiver products which you could save songs into your iPod from your favorite Florida radio stations just by tagging songs convinced me that this is the easiest way to load up my spouse’s iPod with new and hot songs. Fun isn’t it? He has been bugging me to upload as many songs as often as possible because he can get very picky with songs and easily gets bored with his iPod lists. However, it was not my spouse who was convinced, it was a friend who was leisurely checking my entry who was convinced to get this Polk Audio I-sonic ES2. From all the products he saw from the site, he was keen at getting this. Knowing him being a very smart buyer, it was a well-thought of decision. He was raving about these new new country music stations which played awesome music which CDs he could not find, thus, tagging is the best option for him. He will be purchasing the product anytime this week and would invite us over to try it. I hope my spouse gets convinced at getting us one too so we can get the latest music we only hear from our favorite radio stations.

no techie here.

Posted by admin on Apr 23, 2009 in Uncategorized

Before I write about this entry, let me tell you that I am no techie here. Although my being a blogger for almost 5 years has taught me the ins and outs of important web hosting, servers and other what-nots in terms of site-building and maintaing websites. But, I could not let it pass to inform you about this visual studio team foundation server I chanced upon at phase2.com. This Visual Studio Team Foundation Server is a nice alternative for software developers because it is an all in one type of developer. Recently, I got a web hosting service for 2 of my blogs and so far, all the technicalities are being handled by my webhost administrator. She would often talked about SQL Server, FTPs etc… With Visual Studio Team Foundation Server, you have all the needed tools and applications that would make it easier for you to manage projects being done online.

Also, Phase2 boast of a project server hosting service and team foundation server workgroup. They have their own team of programmers who would do the setting up of all this developing software so you do not have to worry about it. And they also have a 24/7 technical support just in case you encounter any problems in the orders you made.

destination weddings.

Posted by admin on Apr 23, 2009 in Uncategorized

I do not know with you, but my spouse and I would love and have actually been planning to get married again! Yes, with all the big hullabaloo we had to go through on our almost 300-guest wedding almost 6 years ago, we wanted another wedding more intimate sort of our renewal of vows on our 10th or 15th year anniversary. Originally, we planned for some caribbean weddings and this all inclusive travel deals that could be found at breezes.com are just enticing and tempting. Being the beach lovers that we are we wanted a venue that could spark our love for nature. Hmm, I wonder who among our friends will get married the soonest because I would definitely suggest one of these discount vacation packages plus a wedding package by Breezes.com. These packages are quite affordable for couples who wants destination weddings. I wish they plan a beach wedding because I will be very very excited to attend that and would even gladly coordinate the event for them.
