Now that I am done with Graduate school, I still feel that I have not recuperated from the hardwork I did in school. My body and mind still feel tired, I guess because I have not been resting well these days because of the overflowing blogging opportunities. I am not complaining because these are blessings but I think I just need to allot at least one week off blogging. I’m  pretty sure that I will lay low on blogging next year especially when I find a day job. So please please, wish me luck in my job hunting. In the meantime, I will check on these plasma mounts because my folks just gave me a new 42 inches Plasma TV as their graduation gift. whee :)

our DS.

Posted by admin on Oct 28, 2009 in Uncategorized

This is a review post:

Do you make a list before you go to the grocery or you just go there with your mental list? The reason for my question is because of this happy story about our DS and his grocery to buy list. You see, as I was making a list on things to buy on our next trip to the grocery, my son butted in and said buy baseball gloves mom! Our DS is such a sports fanatic. He can name all sports and of course one of his favorites is baseball. He knows a bit of the rules, some of the team’s name, logos on the shirts and some equipments. He even has a regular weekend baseball catch session with DH. Instead of getting his baseball gloves in the grocery, DH and I would get our sports need at this site http://www.kidsportsinc.com. They have the most complete array of baseball equipments such as the batting tees and training aids, pitching and fielding aids, different kinds of baseball and batting gloves, tee ball sets, bat and ball sets, and even equipment bags and base sets. Some items are even on sale! I wish we have enough space in our home to set up a baseball camp. But for now, I’d be happy to order DS Baseball Gloves online and just drive to the nearest baseball field.

hello blog!

Hello blog! That’s all I can say.
From a blogger who started out to blog more than 5x a day, yes that’s true–I’ve become a blogger on a weekly basis. Blame it on my busy schedule and missing blogging mojo. I have definitely become a delinquent a blogger with all these cold Autumn season and all. I can blame other factors that contribute to my laziness for all I can, but it is just me who is the problem lol! I have definitely lost my blogging mojo. Speaking of Autumn, I should get myself and my mom a pair of these Naot shoes. It’s really perfect during this not-so-cold weather. So how are you and the weather in your end?

what’s the real deal?

Posted by admin on Oct 21, 2009 in Uncategorized

After accomplishing tons of blogging to dos, I spent the rest of the afternoon researching on web hosting and how it can boost or affect your page ranking. You see, I lost most of my Page Ranks of most of my blogs hahahah, and no matter how much I follow all of Google’s webmaster guidelines, the big G just keeps hitting on me. I really do not know what to do anymore and I have just given up on this thought that I can forever protect my page ranking. What is important is my readership which reflects on the number of hits and also my Alexa scoring. Until a friend sent me information on web hosting rating and web hosting tutorials, particularly information from linux web hosting. WebHostingChoice.com m is a new webhost rating site which gives out web hosting awards to deserving and reliable web hosts. They have the biggest searchable web hosting directory featuring complete information on all web hosting providers, all their web hosting plans, promotional and discount coupons, and unedited reviews by real customers. If you are looking for a website that houses the most comprehensive listing of the best web host services available, WebHosting Choice is for you. Their comparative table makes it easier to give you information and data on anything related to Web Hosting. Maybe, switching to a better Web Host would mean increasing my Page Ranking as well, what are your thoughts?

Strange Interesting Facts.

Posted by admin on Oct 21, 2009 in Uncategorized

YES! I Did it, I couldn’t believe it myself :) .
However, as much as I want to think that life would be much easier after MPA, I am wrong. This is just the beginning of a more hectic life and I accept all the challenges I will face. For now, I can only be wishful and hoping that God will give me the right job that would pave my way in my chosen field.

Have a happy hump day everyone. Here’s leaving you with some interesting facts from JustBeSplendid.Tumblr.Com before I check on this best weight loss supplement.

* You may not know that the number of bones in the human body of an adult differ from the number of bones in an infant. The adult human has 206 bones whereas the infant has from 300 – 350. The difference is accounted for because not all bones in an infant are fused until years later.
* Did you know that it takes more muscles to frown than to smile?
* In the setting of goals, especially true during the New Year’s tradition of resolutions, that the palest ink is better than the strongest memory. In other words, it is always better, stronger, and more reliable to write your goals down on paper than to trust that your memory will follow through with the same strength of conviction.
* The largest mammals on earth differ from whether they are on land or in the ocean. On land, the elephant is the largest while in the ocean, the blue whale is the largest.
* Did you know that one of the largest slave trading nations in the world was Great Britain?

New York, New York!

Posted by admin on Oct 11, 2009 in Uncategorized

We have intentions of spending the holidays in New York since our 1st plan of spending it with my relatives in the west coast won’t push through anymore. I have scouted on cheap airfares and in fact found a lot of e-savers packages. They are extremely and temptingly cheap but we had to go over our budget over and over before we purchase the tickets, more on that later.  Also, I chanced upon this New York Sightseeing that we would love to take when we decide to visit NY. City Sights NY offers affordable, reliable and safe ground transportation services throughout New York City and the surrounding suburbs. Their Hop-in, Hop off double deckers are very helpful for new tourists. Also, they operate every day of the year. While everything in our NY logistics seem to be very planned ahead, we are having some hesitations because of a big purchase we had this week. Yes, quite new. We purchased something that would slash off a big chunk in our budget for the next 6 months or so. However, more than anything else, that big purchase is meant to be utilized by me and that I should gather all the guts in the world to use it hee.

What housechores do you like the most?
I must say, THE LAUNDRY!

I love the smell of fresh-laundered clothes and folding my neat clothes.
Wouldn’t you love to have this place (swiped from JustBeSplendid.Tumblr.com) as your Laundry area.
Ahhh, coolness. A makeshift laundry room and workplace. Would also be lovely to have treadmills in here right? Perfect for Stay At Home Mom who has many things in her hands.

It’s Sunday, exactly 4am and I’m up and about!
I had to push myself off the bed so I can work on my so and so online tasks for my so and so # of blogs. I have 11 hours to go and while I do not like cramming, I had to be in this spot because I was very busy the past days. And nope, I did not procrastinate as well, I just have too many things in my hands right now.

So at this very quiet Sunday morning, here I am bonding with my coffee and my blogs plus I need to research on ecommerce fulfillment site…

How are you this Sunday?

Happy Monday!

Posted by admin on Oct 5, 2009 in Uncategorized

Every Monday, I make sure to post at least an entry in each of my blog. I may sound a little like a broken recording machine but it is my way of sharing some positivity because I may need some too to face what’s in store for my week. So here’s what I thought of sharing this Monday, 10 words we should all remove from our vocabulary. Have a good week ahead, I’m off to check some acapulco vacations packages, I’m excited whee!

1. Can’t: The use of this word is primarily responsible for countless hopes and dreams lying dormant on the ‘drawing boards’ of our lives. Completely eliminate your use of this word and you will see a significant positive change in your life.

2. But: When used as a conjunction,”but” negates whatever statement that precedes it.” I want to study law, but it wlll take a lot of hard work.” Your mind does not focus on your desire to become a lawyer or judge;it only sees the hard work you will need to perform.Replace “but” with ‘and’.

3. Should: Any statement that uses the word “should” generally elicits guilt.”I should go to the gym,” makes you feel guilty for not going. Replace this word with “choose,” as in, “I choose to go to the gym,or I choose not to go to the gym today.

4. Maybe: This word indicates indecision, doubt,or uncertainty as to a course of action. For example, “Maybe I’d better wait to…” For those of us interested in personal development,”maybe” should be used very sparingly. Use “I will” or ” I will not” instead of maybe. The mere sound of the more positive words emit feelings of confidence and resolve which are so important to our personal well-being.

5. Soon or Later: Both are indefinite references to time. They are also non-commital.They should be replaced with a definite time and date. When someone tells you he or she is going to do something “soon” or “later,” there is no way to determine when “whatever it is” will get done. Imagine what could happen to deadlines and your integrity when these words are usedfrequently.

6. Someday: Someday, like “soon or later”, is much too indefinite, and when it is used, it shows the same lack of commitment.Replace “someday” with a specific date and time.

7. Never: This word is absolute, and there are only limited situations when “never” is absolutely true. The use of this word,in my opinion, suggests a closed mind, which seriously hinders our self-growth efforts. The word “never” should be replaced with a non-absolute term.

8. Won’t: The word “won’t” implies an unwillingness, reluctance, or closed mindedness, and like the absolute term ‘never’, it is quite harmful because it closes the door on many of the actions we need to take to reach our goals.

9. If: This is a small word that carries large doubts and uncertainties, and when used often,it gnaws away at our confidence and intended actions, two qualities necessary for any type of success.

10.Try or (I’ll Try): I don’t know about you, but each time someone has said these words to me,or the few times that I have used them in conversations with others, whatever the subject of “I’ll try” was, rarely, if ever, got done. Replace “I’ll try,” with ‘I will.’
