Driving Responsibility

Driving entails a lot of responsibility. This is the main reason why as much as possible, I am always on the passenger seat and would rather that hubby would be the designated driver in the family. Although, I know for a fact that driving is a necessity here but with how strict their driving rules are here, I could not help but have driving anxiety every now and then. My main concern is not actually on myself because when I am on the road, I drive so carefully and so slowly that I am always on the defensive driving mode, but more of careless drivers who would forget all of their driving responsibilities.

One of the most common yet serious driving issues in this country is DUI misdemeanor. This is usually committed by young drivers who go out for party, drink and drive which of course would result in either DUI misdemeanors or DUI felonies. Even if there are stages of offenses such as DUI misdemeanor for their first, second or third DUI offense, still an offense is a serious case and would result to Felony charges once you reached the 3rd offense. Severity of offenses may lead you to monetary fines, to be on probation, mandatory alcohol counseling and the worst is when your license get suspended and of course, you do not want to reach jail time. So I believe that more than learning the driving skills and perfecting how to smoothly drive your new car, it is the responsibilities that go with driving that driving educators should focus on.
