Dear husband has 3 wishes in his Christmas list. I have already bought the first two and would look for the hiking backpacks (his 3rd wish) this afternoon after work. You see, he has plans of joining the local mountaineering club in our neighborhood come Spring of next year. While he has a good old hiking backpack, I guess he deserves to get a new one this Christmas!
One of these days, I would really have to make time for my little boy’s photos and videos. All those milestones and achievements with matching trophies and medals should be well documented and put in his digital photobooks. I guess I have to at least sit down on these thousands of photos and organize them this coming weekend. But wait, I need to do some Christmas shopping first. Oh the Holiday bug has finally hit me yay!
I am literally rushing up with my Christmas list because I realized, I could not give similar gifts to my closest friends as I want them to feel extra special when they received the Christmas presents that came from our family. You see, I bought these boxed giftsets for my girlfriends containing some vanities but now, I am thinking about buying nursing scrubs for my friends are in the medical field. I just wish I would be able to get their sizes correctly and that they would appreciate the designs of the scrubs I would choose for them.
Our neighbor got themselves their new truck and would love to receive curt hitches this Christmas. While this may be very expensive for a holiday gift, our other friends and neighbors have decided to chip in with the cost. I bet they will be surprised to see a curt hitch attached to their new van come Christmas day.
I am still catching up with my Christmas list. So far, what is left in my list are my godsons whose parents have requested not to give them any more toys this Christmas. While I was gearing at buying them some nice Christmas outfits, I realized that the parents would be the one delighted when they open the presents and see new clothes. Instead, I am thinking about giving them these cute step stools with handles. Just look at the firetruck-inspired step stool in the photo, I bet my 3-year old godson would be so happy to receive one.
Whoa, 2011 flies so fast I did not even notice that I haven’t blogged a single entry this month. So yes, officially this is my first entry on the last month of 2011. I have been caught by the Holiday bug and here I am rushing on my Christmas list. I thought I was on time until I realized we barely have 14 days before Christmas and I have a week to send my gifts to friends and family members. If only budget was not an issue, I would immediately decide to buy blackberry online and give them to my gadget-freak friends and relatives but not! I am working on a Christmas shopping budget and despite the simplicity of our gifts, I really hope they would appreciate the thought

The economy is still as bad as it was last year and the other year. No matter how much effort the government and world leaders are doing, we could not see urgent results. I guess all it takes is our patience and our collaborated hardwork. In time, (and hopefully), we would be able to surpass this economic letdown, hence, stabilizing the economic stature of major countries like US and Canada. In the end, we can only hope for better economic state as they said no one is spared. Even big casinos in U.S. are suffering from this global financial crisis. I do make sure I update our whiteboard calendar which is plastered in our fridge as often as I could so we would not miss out on important events as well as not miss out on paying important bills. Beside the calenda, I have a list of things we need at home. Each time I find out we are lacking of this and that, I put it there and bring it when we go to the grocery or the nearest mall for other things. Now, I was surprised to see cutting tools in that list? Could it be something that dear hubby wants to start? Hmmm, he has always been telling me he wanted to set up a zen garden in our patio, maybe he needed those tools for that particular project.

We often hear this cliche but I guess during the merry season of gift-giving, what is important is the fact that we have thought about what gifts to give our loved ones. Does not matter whether it is expensive or branded, what matters is the emotion involved as we shop and gift wrap our presents. Wow Thanksgiving weekend went by so fast. We can now focus on our Christmas shopping and to do list, and yes, be merry! But why am I seeing so many flyers coming from different easter stores at this time of the year. I guess I should not be surprised because during Valentines, I have been seeing Halloween deals yay!
